Public Shelter

Public Shelter is a series of twelve linocuts created from documentation of Tel Aviv’s Bauhaus architecture as it exists in stark contrast to the defensive infrastructure of public bomb shelters. These prints came about in an attempt to make sense of the particularly permeable boundary between utopia and dystopia as experienced by me, a foreigner traveling there for the first time on the Bauhaus’ trail.
